Though animals have always been her focus, horse's became her life. Jo spent over twenty-five years competing, and producing numerous top young horses in show jumping. Training with Will Funnel. Producing two future international Grand Prix winners from 3-7 yrs old – Kepi D’Elle, ridden by William Funnel and Robin V ridden by Geoff Luckett.
This gave Jo an insight into both the psychology and physiology of the equine. From here physiotherapy was a natural progression. It has furthered her knowledge of the inner workings, to enhance the horse’s athletic ability.
The combination of established competition rider and physio is a unique position. It gives a better insight into both competition injury and fitness. Still pursuing that passion, producing future stars for showjumping.A strong supporter of rider fitness for a balanced equine/human team, she continues with yoga, pilates and running.
